iPad 5 - iPad 2017 - Provides Best Repair Value in Years!

The latest iPad 2017 - iPad 5 - Best iPad Repair value in many years

Apple frequently changes their iPad designs with dramatically can affect the iPad Repair industry.  This is true yet again, but this time it has resulted in much lower prices for iPad Screen Repair in many years of work.  The screen and LCD are now engineered and manufactured as separate parts inside the iPad, resulting in a new (similar to the old) approach for repairing the iPad family of devices.

When the iPad family was introduced by Apple, it introduced a collection of issues in repair for Apple iPad owners.   The large glass screens were susceptible to damage and breaking glass and resulted in the need for a whole spawned industry of iPad repairs for damaged, cracked, and broken screens.  This means that there were lots of customers needing this particular repair, including schools, individuals, and organizations.

Large and small companies alike around the world sprung up to fix the damage on iPad screens.  In the USA companies like RepairZoom and Apple both created work-flows for this situation.  And many consumers and businesses have used these companies, and many others to fix their damaged screens, LCD's, home buttons, power buttons, and other parts of the iPad susceptible to damage.

iPad Screen Design Changes

Over the years the engineers at Apple in Cupertino California have updated and changed iPad designs.  Many of these changes are minor, and have not affected prices for iPad Screen Repairs.  However, when the iPad Air 2 was introduced, the price for a screen repair nearly tripled, due to the complex nature of the "screen LCD assembly", which for the first time was completely fused together.  Consumers found this trend continuing when the iPad Pro family of iPads was introduced.  Screen repair prices stayed very high.

But in early 2017, Apple introduced the newest iPad, dubbed the "iPad 5" or "iPad 2017".  And good news Apple Fans... the screen design has been modified again, this time cutting the cost of screen repairs by two-thirds!  Most iPad screen repairs on the new iPad 5 or iPad 2017 are back in the neighborhood of about $100.  This is great for Schools with iPad 1:1 programs and others where saving money is of value (um, like everyone!).

Anyway, we hope to see Apple's engineers stay on this trend of highly repairable devices.  Consumer love them, and so do Apple repair shops worldwide.  The repairs are fast and easy and cheap.  Happy words for those who love (but break) their iPads.

iPad Pro Is The Future Of the Apple iPad

Apple iPad Repair Updates for 2016 It's all about the iPad Pro We have lots to share from the March 2016 keynote at Apple headquarters in Cupertino - but if there is just one takeaway on the updates to the iPad lineup it is this: The Future Is All About the iPad Pro. The big iPad Pro, which was first released in 2015, has been a bigger success for Apple than first expected. In particular, the device has sold well with consumers looking for an all-in-one tablet + computer hybrid. And since the profile of these users has high correlation with legacy Microsoft Windows users... Apple is seeing a lot of MS Windows to iOS conversions with this new device. They suspect the keyboard has a lot to do with this as the iPad Pro is the first iPad device to have a dockable keyboard from Apple and it's a hit with consumers. So... what to do next? Release another iPad Pro! That's right , the iPad Pro has spawned a little brother in the iPad Pro 9.7 inch version . This fo...
